Construction: Two piece welded. Molybdenum Alloy stainless steel blades. Computer controlled, vacuum furnace hardening with nitrogen injection sub-zero slow recovery tempering (performed twice). This heat treatment is the best available and ensures our finished DCI scissors have a high corrosion resistance and a uniform hardness without being brittle. Rockwell hardness 58 to 60. Corrosion resistant handles. Finger knob click type adjustment assembly.
Design features: DCI scissors are designed to be versatile and perform all current Precision cutting techniques very well. The flat and thin blade profile and fine finished edges are designed for the softest cutting feel. The handle designs of the DCI range have larger finger holes (adjustable to Medium and Small with inserts), superbly weighted, comfortable designs are made for western cutters.
